The 2010 Reno Chapter of Nevada Waterfowl Association will be May 15, 2010. We are trying to provide more information about some of the outstanding items which will be available for raffle, silent auction, special raffles, and live auction items (note: these descriptions may change prior to the dinner). More information for each item will be available soon.

Aleutian Island Waterfowlers - Donated a one person, 4-day hunt to Adak Island, Alaska. This hunt will target Aleutian Green-winged Teal, Harlequin, Black Scoter, and the Adak Rock Ptarmigan. Opportunities for Pacific Eider (v-nigra) should exist. Includes lodging and meals. This hunt does not include airfare, tips, and Alaska licenses ($25). |

Talaview Lodge - Donated five days/four nights for one fisherman for all five species of Pacific Slamon, native Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, and Arctic Grayling at the Talaview Lodge on the Talachulitna River, Alaska. Does not include airfare, license, gratuity. Can bring guests for reduced fare. Winning bidder has to provide airfare to Anchorage AND to lodge (~$250). |

Norcal Waterfowl - Donated a two person, 2-day hunt to the Bay Area, California. This hunt can cater to Black Brant, both species of Scaup, both species of Goldeneyes, Canvasbacks, and Surf Scoter. This hunt does not include travel, lodging, tips, and California licenses. |

The Black Brant Group - Donated a two person, 2-day hunt to Morro Bay Area, California for the 2010 season. This hunt will focus on Black Brant. Harvest of other species of waterfowl is rare. This hunt does not include travel, lodging, tips, and California licenses. |

Northwest Wings Taxidermy - Donated a single duck mount (mallard sized). Does not include shipping to and from Veneta, OR. |

Rising Sun Outfitters - Donated a 3 day hunt for one person on the Maine coast. Hunting for 2 sub-species of common eider, all 3 scoter species, and long-tailed ducks. Hunts are traditional Maine-style ledge hunts or layout boats. Does not include airfare, licenses, lodging, or tips. Possible to bring 3 friends along at their full price. All-inclusive lodging is also available with Rising Sun Outfitters. |

Wild Spirit Resources - Donated 2 self-authored books "Identification Field Guide to the Geese of the Willamette Valley and Lower Columbia River". This book has been described as a valuable tool for waterfowl hunters and birders to be able to differentiate between the multiple sub-species of Canada geese in the west. |
