Goose With Navy Beans Recipe

Ingredients

1 goose

5 cups navy beans (soaked 8 hours)

1 carrot, peeled

1 onion, peeled

seasonings to taste

Instructions

Put goose in a roasting pan and roast in moderate oven for 1 1/2 hours.

While the goose is roasting, boil the beans, carrot, onion and seasonings in water for about 1 1/2 hours.

Drain off water.

Place beans around the goose in the roasting pan.

Finish cooking together, about 15 minutes.

Then serve.
